Are you ready to go?

It never fails, when you are planning your trip there are a few things you may neglect to remember.

For the most part, they are very helpful things and if you don’t have them, well it can be a little disruptive.

Depending on where you are going and how long you are staying the list of items you will need to bring will differ.

Whatever the case may be, if you are traveling abroad here are all the necessary documents you will need to have.

1)            Your foreign passport with visa (if necessary)
2)            Your tickets (plane, train, bus – just any)
3)            Your hotel voucher (if you stay in a hotel)
4)            Your insurance (if you have one)

Are you traveling with a travel agency, well then you had better make sure you have their telephone numbers and any other contacts for them both in your home country and in the country of you are going to.

If you are going to a foreign country and you don’t speak the language, something that will be indispensable is having a phrase-book. A phrase-book is a collection of ready-made phrases, usually for a foreign language along with a translation, indexed and often in the form of questions and answers. In addition a phrase book generally features high clarity and a practical, sometimes color-coded structure to enable you to communicate in a quick and easy, though very basic, manner. So with this in mind a phrase book sometimes also provides several possible answers to each question, to let a person respond in part by pointing at one of them.

Now if you only plan to spend time away from home for only a couple of days, then we suggest you only take your documents and a sufficient amount of money. There are not a lot of things that you can’t live without for several days or so. We’re sure you do want to waste your money, so be sure not to forget your toothbrush and all your other personal hygiene items. Now if you are staying in a prestigious hotel they’ll actually have those items already in your room so those things won’t be necessary for you to bring at all. Be sure to check prior to departing. It is better to be safe than sorry.

Most people have no idea what it is like not to have their cell phone with them at all times, so naturally when travelling it’ll allow you to keep in touch with their friends and relatives as well as allowing you to take amazing pictures of your trip. However, some people leave their city and have a strong desire to forget about all that they have left behind in their world, so a radical approach some have taken to is actually PLAN not to bring your cell phone with you. For some that’s a scary thought, it’s akin to walking out of the house without having any clothes on, for others, it’s really liberating to disconnect for a few days and get off the grid so to speak. They still have phones in your room in the majority of places you’ll stay so you will still have access to reaching out to someone in case of emergency.

It doesn’t matter how long your trip is going to be – DO NOT FORGET YOUR MEDICATIONS!!! Especially if you are heading to some remote location far from the big city you probably wouldn’t be able to find what you need. But even if you are going to New York or Paris, do you really want to spend your vacation time and money looking for some meds? Even then, it’s great if the foreign pharmacists happens to know the name of your medication – but what happens if they don’t?

Also as it relates to healthcare – it’s always highly recommended to make sure you have all the vaccinations you need in the country you are traveling to. It’s especially critical if you are going to one of the tropical countries or to a country where an epidemic can wreck your plans. If you need the list of the vaccinations they can easily be found with your travel agency, with the embassy of the country, or just by simply looking online.

You’d think this wouldn’t need to be said but it happens. DO NOT FORGET to also to take the clothes for you relaxing. That means your swimsuit, T-shirts, your shorts for that beach resort and if your headed to the mountains having a couple of the warm sweaters and blazers would definitely be a good idea . Wherever you go, don’t forget those running shoes – trust us, nobody likes taking a long walk in high heels or in uncomfortable shoes.

Is your flight going to be long? What about bus ride or train? You would be wise to take some books, magazines, Kindle, or something else to keep yourself (& the kids) entertained.  Some children always travel with their blanket or stuffed animal wherever they go. For God’s sake do not leave that behind or you’ll be in for the longest short vacation you’d ever been on.

Anyways, make sure you bring cash along with you credit card to help with any trouble. Having that as a backup you should be able to buy almost anything, almost anywhere.

3 Little Known Tips To Saving Money On Beach Vacation Travel

Do you want a real simple way to save on your beach vacation travel? We want to show you 3 ways that will save you some doe when you’re booking that next beach vacation. Time at the beach is an phenomenal experience. No matter whether you take a quick weekend trip to the Jersey Shore or if you’re traveling to far western Australia, with the exception of rain, the beach is typically a really enjoyable experience. After having taken trips all over the world, looking back it’s easy to see where we’ve missed big opportunities to save money that were basically right in front of us. All it would have taken was for us to take a little bit of time to do a little extra research. Well, lucky for you our loss is your gain. We’ve now done the research and have laid it all out here for you. Now all you have to do is be willing to keep reading and next thing you know, you’ll be enjoying the best beach vacations of your life, and the best part is you’ll be doing it for a deeply discounted price. So,......
LET'S GO!!!!

Tip #1 - Buy a used vacation. Well, not exactly used: it’s more like discounted (or unused actually). A lot of times, people will put their vacation opportunities up for real discounts. For example, were you aware that there are all kinds of people who own time shares but are not able to use them for whatever reason? It could be that they can’t get their flights to work out, or maybe it’s just not the right season for them. One place to look,…. eBay. That’s right eBay has a thriving market for timeshare opportunities. Sometimes you have people who are just looking to monetize a week of their timeshare that they are not able to use themselves. Not only that but you’ll also find there are a number of the listings on the site that are permanent. In other words, you can even find people on there that are looking for others to purchase their timeshares outright. Whatever the case this is an under the radar channel that can be a great opportunity for you. Keep in mind, Ebay is an auction site, so that means that the highest bidder is usually going to win.

Old School Tip for Saving Money on Vacation Stays

Tip # 2 – You have to compare everything. You know what? Orbitz, Travelocity, and Expedia look like they are online travel juggernauts and basically control pretty much all of the market. However, most people don’t know that they don’t have every vendor available. There are plenty of the discount airlines like JetBlue and SouthWest who don’t use massive companies like Orbitz and Expedia. These airlines only allow you to get their deals if you buy directly from their website. And if you haven’t had the chance to fly on JetBlue let me tell you, they have really nice seats and monitors on new planes with really awesome prices. JetBlue is famous for delivering great value, in particular on Northeast to Florida routes. That tip right there could save you some money and still let you get a really nice flight.

The Ultimate Guide to Travel Hacking Cheap Flights

Tip #3 – Although Tip #1 & Tip #2 go a long ways towards saving you money with your vacation planning, it would basically be worthless when you consider that you would probably have to chuck out a lot more loot for destinations abroad. So, guess what? There just happens to be a beautiful “beach state” that is located not too far away from anyone who lives East of the Mississippi River. That’s right,… the “Sunshine State”, Florida. Yes indeed! Florida is back, better than ever. And it’s beaches are still amazing. Quite frankly, Florida is simply beautiful. During the last 50 years there has been a lot of development of Florida, but it is still a massive state with plenty of undiscovered beaches. Having lived there for a few years I can tell you the state of Florida can be great if you know where to look. It is VERY nice. We’re telling you….these undiscovered spots of Florida can really be something else. Unfortunately, as thousands of people move to Florida every month these spots are becoming more and more difficult to find. But don't let that discourage you, because there is a great truth we know all too well,… Seek and Ye Shall Find!!

MelodySusie Hanging Toiletry Travel Bag Review

MelodySusie Hanging Toiletry Bag
 Purchase MelodySusie Hanging Toiletry Bag

This heavy-duty toiletry bag can hold your entire bathroom and a whole lot more!

The Good, The Not So Good, & The BONUS!

The Good:
  • The bag is waterproof and guards against leaks and spills
  • 23 storage compartments
  • Has the ability to hold full-size toiletries
  • Great for sharing with travel partners

The Not So Good:
  • The bag is designed to be useful or practical rather than dressy.
  • The mesh lining is pretty dainty so you have to be careful you do not tear it.

Many times when we are trying to figure out what to pack for a trip, we have to make hard choices between some of our favorites because we don’t have enough space. For example, if you are flying you’ve got two choices: Put your liquid toiletries in mini travel bottles or you could toss them in your checked luggage and risk the chance of leaking mouthwash and shampoo messing up all of your clean clothes. Que the MelodySusie Hanging Toiletry Bag. So now when it comes to packing your personal items, things will never be the same. Once you check out this spacious organizer you'll see why we were so excited about this 3 gallon heavy duty organizer. This bag has 23 storage compartments and is perfect for anyone who plans to travel with more than just your toothbrush.

Most toiletry bags can only hold a few bath and body items, but not so with the increased storage space of the MelodySusie Bag. It’s an oversized bag, that is shaped like a mini briefcase (When fastened and zipped), also comes with a shoulder strap so that you can carry it like a purse. It measures 10.6 x 6.3 x 11 inches, and is ideal for full-size bath & body products, your shaving kits, along with many travel-sized hot tools. The polyester build is water-resistant making leaks and spills easy to clean up.

Many people really like the fact that you can carry this bag like a purse plus it also comes with a built in steel  hook that allows you to hang the bag on a towel rack, on a shower curtain, on the back of a door, or even inside of a closet. Once the toiletry bag is unzipped and expanded to its maximum capacity, you can easily hang it wherever you like. Also if you’re sharing the bag with family members or other travel partners, you could simply hang it in a central location so you could have easy access to shared items like shampoo, toothpaste, sunscreen, lotion, etc.

If capacity and versatility is what you love in a toiletry bag then we definitely recommend this bag.

There are five main storage compartments, which is perfect because you have the option to organize your bath products, makeup, or you could even separate your items from your travel partner’s. When you open the MelodySusie bag it has a main compartment (with mesh lining in it). Depending on the size of the bottles that area can fit anywhere from four to nine full-sized bottles. Above the main compartment you will find two fully-zipped mesh pockets which would be great for any miniature toiletries or cosmetics. In addition, on each side of the bag there is a side flap, with elastic bands, that will allow you to hold smaller items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup brushes, and small tools.

In addition, you could also use this as a tote bag for baby items, the gym, cosmetic pouch, shaving kits, hygiene kits, outdoors activities, picnics, bathroom organization and even tools it makes for the perfect contraption for many uses!

One criticism is that if the interiors are overloaded with bulky items like large shampoo bottles, they can push out into the sides, and that means that the side compartments can get squished.

In general, we have a high opinion of the MelodySusie hanging travel kit, and would say that it’s one of the best travel toiletry bags available.

That's why as a special purchase bonus we will be offering a complimentary 4 day 3 night vacation stay valued at $585 with every purchase of this Pink MelodySusie Hanging Toiletry Bag.

The BOTTOM Line:

Whether you’re packing for your entire family or for a long trip, MelodySusie’s Hanging Toiletry Bag will prove itself essential for your toiletries and other items.

The Good, The Bad, & The Budget:

The Problem With Timeshares And Vacation Rentals

It looks like timeshares are becoming obsolete.  As more people want to get away to exotic locations around the world, the demand for timeshares purchases and rentals have gone up.  As a result of this, prices have also skyrocketed.  It is not uncommon to see timeshares going for over $10,000.  This high front end cost, along with all the hidden fees such as an annual maintenance fee which can range from several hundred to several thousands, and that can really do damage to your wallet.

Furthermore, there are several reasons why a timeshare is a bad investment.  Not only is there a huge cost, but the value depreciates as well.  And unless you have a timeshare in a very desirable, exotic location, you can never get the money back that was needed to invest in the first place.

 Access Insider Secrets

So, many other vacationers decide that perhaps renting is the better choice. And when it comes down to price, and we definitely agree.  The challenge however is due to high demands, it is darn near impossible to get your specific resort, in the location that you prefer.  A lot of timeshare owners, trying to recover their initial fees, will charge high rental prices.  Needless to say this has been very discouraging for a lot of travelers, as they try to find the best deal for the time that they desire. If you take a quick glance at the various wanted ads online you will find that there are a ton of owners who are posting many months ahead of when they need the resort because this predicament is so frustrating.

We live in a day and age where people are looking for convenience at low cost.  The days of someone paying high fee's and staying at a sub-par resort are gone. There definitely has to be a balance between cost and quality.

Unfortunately, there has not been an alternative to all of this for the most part. Throughout the years, a variety of clubs and membership programs have permeated the market, trying to snag the customers who are not willing to fork out ridiculous sums of money for a vacation week.

Vacation clubs are essentially a twist on the timeshare theme: programs that offer vacation stays in participating accommodations. Similar to timeshares, you buy into the program for an initial price which can range from  $5000 to as much as $1 million; once you join, you get to select the resorts where you want to stay and then pay for each occupancy. There is also a chance you would have to pay extra annual “maintenance” or “membership” fees.

They can be a really great alternative if you happen to find the right one.

So looking for the perfect vacation can be very difficult, especially when you are on a budget.  Travel agents can be very helpful in locating a resort at a decent price, but you still have to pay for their commission.  Unfortunately, there are those out there who will take advantage of a customer, if they see that you are less likely to object to high prices.

At the end of the day, there are a few businesses that allow people to not just travel for less, but to travel for less at high quality resorts. These travel programs are like a diamonds in the rough, wonderful gems that almost no one has noticed.  As these alternative choices for travel grow in popularity, the purchasing of timeshares as well as the need for travel agents will go down at the same time. So when wholesale prices are available for all aspects of travel, why would you spend thousands of dollars to pay out the profit and commissions?

For the most part, it just takes awhile for you to find the best resource, but once you find it, it is well worth it.
